DANSONS provides musical and visual experiences for weddings and events in the Eastern Townships. Professional DJ, VJ and video projections, first dance lessons, ecstatic dances, and sound baths — all under one roof, by the same artist.

Alexandre Quessy is the only provider in the Eastern Townships to combine these three disciplines at a single event: DJ, VJ, and dance teacher. Here’s what that means for you:
- Master’s degree in multimedia — rare technical expertise in the Quebec events industry.
- DJ and dance teacher since 2014 — 10+ years of experience, from Swing evenings to high-end weddings.
- VJing since 2016 — live projections presented on three continents (North America, Europe, Africa).
- Multi-instrumentalist musician — guitar, piano, clarinet, saxophone. Music isn’t a job for Alexandre — it’s his identity.
- The only DJ-VJ in the Eastern Townships — a complete artist who signs the entire evening: music and visuals live, by the same person.
Our Story
Alexandre Quessy created Art Plus Code Inc. in 2020. In 2025, he expanded the company by adopting the alternate name “Dansons” to reflect a focus on providing memorable musical and visual experiences for events in the Eastern Townships.
With a college diploma in music and a master’s degree in multimedia, Alexandre combines artistic expertise with innovative production. He has been teaching swing dancing since 2014, bringing his love of dance and community to every event he organizes.

Alexandre Quessy — DJ Alextasy
Alexandre Quessy, also known as DJ Alextasy, is the musical and artistic director of DANSONS. With a passion for bringing people together through music, Alexandre has been DJing since 2014, starting with energetic Swing dance events and expanding his talent to weddings, corporate events, and ecstatic dance experiences.
In addition to his work as a DJ and VJ, Alexandre is a versatile musician who plays the guitar, piano, clarinet, and saxophone. He often delights guests by performing live saxophone or clarinet during his DJ sets.
His expertise, creativity, and ability to read the crowd ensure that every celebration is filled with joy, connection, and unforgettable memories.
